What lead me here

What lead me here

Born and raised in Brazil, I always dreamt of being part of an expat world collective. And 6 years ago I jumped at the opportunity and moved to Munich (Germany).

Fast forwarding to today, living 4 years in Germany, 2 years in Canada, and now a few months in the US, has taught me many different life lessons. The biggest ones, for sure, are adaptiveness, resilience, and empathy.

By living this almost nomad life, I couldn't necessarily bring my career with me, but I could transfer my skills to a different way of being part of peoples experiences . So, I dedicated the last couple of years to shifting all mt previous professional experiences to UX Design.

My background

My background

Originally from the Corporate Event field, where I managed B2B and B2C customers, I cruised through sales and team training and structured the marketing department and its efforts at a German startup, before transitioning to UX Design.

From my previous experiences I have several takeaways, including a honed ability to envision and orchestrate seamless interactions from start to finish, a keen understanding of consumer behavior and the importance of creating meaningful connections between businesses and their target audiences.

I possess now also a deep appreciation for the power of storytelling and brand identity and understand the importance of conveying a consistent message across various touchpoints and aligning design elements with brand strategies.

These skills can be translated directly into the realm of UX Design, where I can apply this holistic approach on my design processes, and design user-centric experiences with a unique perspective.

Curiosities

Curiosities

I come from a small but beautiful Brazilian state that most people (including some other Brazilians) never heard of: Espírito Santo.

In the last 10 years I moved 9 times. And 3 of them were international moves.

I love musicals, Disney movies and Mexican telenovelas.
